Anita Briem is an Icelandic actor from Iceland . Anita Briesm, an Icelandic actress, is famous for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman who would later become the spouse of Henry VIII) in the television show The Tudors. Also for the role of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem's acting career began in the National Theater Iceland when she was just 9 years old. Her early involvement was in many radio and TV programs, plays, and productions throughout Iceland. Briem became a child actor aged 16 when she moved to London. She was a part of the production of Lenin, in Love at the New End Theater. After turning 19, Briem was accepted at the prestigious Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London, which she attended for the next three years. There she obtained a diploma in dramatics as well as an award called the John Barton Prize in the category of Scenic Fight.
